Nursing and midwifery graduate program virtual forum
Kick starting your career has never been so easy with GradConnect’s graduate and transition to practice programs. Newly qualified, or soon to be qualified, enrolled nurses, registered nurses and midwives are encouraged to attend the upcoming virtual forum and learn how to apply.
Date: Monday, 27 November 2023, 9am – 5pm
Register your interest: To attend you must register your interest (external site) no later than 12pm on Friday, 24 November 2023. You will be provided a link to the forum on Friday, 24 November 2023 with login instructions.
The forum is a great way to learn about the application process, key dates and opportunities on offer. The GradConnect virtual forum gives potential applicants the chance to:
- learn about the application process, including time for questions.
- hear from public health service providers about graduate programs on offer.
- receive information about specialty programs, such as mental health nursing and working in regional WA.
- find out about additional supports available, particularly for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.
- participate in breakout sessions with staff from different health services and GradConnect. This gives you the opportunity to interact and ask questions in smaller groups.
Previously, there has been two graduate program intakes per year. This will transition to an annual process for 2024, bringing Western Australia in line with other states across Australia. The forum is a great way to learn about key application dates to ensure you don’t miss out.
